Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Development
- Provided technical and transaction advisory services in the Central Partnership Authority (APA).
- Developed the unsolicited proposal guideline and co-financed the PPP information disclosure portal for transparency.
- Organized an investment roadshow in Dubai (September 2020), presenting 16 bankable projects and receiving 15 expressions of interest (EoIs).
Outcome: Improved investment facilitation and fostered structured collaboration, resulting in better resource utilization and increased interest in bankable projects.
Public-Private Dialogue (PPD) Initiatives
- Conducted 13 PPD sessions with 1,100 participants nationwide, bridging gaps between government and private sector.
- Identified 102 business barriers, presented to the government for the Private Sector Development Plan (NPP).
- Coordinated Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) for effective dialogue.
- Prepared advocacy materials and position papers to support policy dialogue.
- Organized discussions and tracked progress on critical business reforms.
Outcome: Enhanced communication and collaboration, leading to actionable reforms easing business processes.

Legal and Regulatory Reform/Investment Facilitation
- Established the One-Stop Shop MIS at the Afghanistan Central Business Registry (ACBR).
- Trained 236 judicial officials in 20 commercial dispute resolution areas across 8 zones.
- Launched an online portal for commercial cases to enhance transparency.
- Developed an electronic Certificate of Origin system at ACCI for trade transparency.
- Supported the Afghanistan Centre for Dispute Resolution (ACDR) in publishing arbitration rules.
- Provided technical support for trade policy reforms and revised APTTA to address export constraints.
- Collected trade transit data at 5 cross-border posts for policy reform evidence.
Outcome: Strengthened legal and institutional frameworks for investment and trade, ensuring transparency and streamlined processes.
Women’s Economic Inclusion
- Conducted market-driven skills training for women entrepreneurs in Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, and Kandahar.
- Provided technical training to 151 women-led ventures, direct financial support ($800-$500) to 40 businesses, and facilitated job creation for 317 individuals.
- Assisted AWCCI in assessing women-owned businesses and developing a database of women entrepreneurs.
Outcome: Empowered women entrepreneurs, improved market participation, and created sustainable livelihoods.
